Six militants killed in J&K

Guwahati, November 25, 2018:

Six Hizbul Mujahideen and Lashkar-e-Taiba militants were gunned down by the security forces in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday.

Acting on a tip off, the Rashtriya Rifles, troops of the Special Operations Group (SOG) of the police and the Central Reserve Police Force had launched an operation. During the firefight, an army jawan was also killed while another sustained injuries.

Four of the slain militants were identified as Mushtaq Mir, Abbas, Saifullah, Omar Majeed Ganai and Khalid Farooq.
