The world woke up to a tragedy today in the wake of one the biggest ever terror attacks at Kashmir’s Pulwama district where a suicide bomber (identified Adil Ahmad Dar) drove an SUV full of explosives into a military convoy. The death toll has now reached 40. Many people of national and international importance have taken to social media Twitter to express their grief and frustration over the situation.
A Pakistani Journalist’s role in the controversy surrounding the incident is one of the most eyebrow-raising issues at the moment. Slamming the Pakistan Government’s official statement, the journalist Taha Siddique has slammed the country for promoting terror outfits like Jaish-e-Mohammed.
Congress President Rahul Gandhi and Uttar Pradesh Congress Secretary Priyanka Gandhi were quick to condemn the heinous act on Twitter.
“Shameful shocking reprehensible”- Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor tweeted.
Cricketing phenomenon Virat Kohli also took to Twitter to express his condolences for the departed.
Assam Police also paid their deepest condolences to the martyrs of one of the deadliest terror attacks ever.

Heads of various countries have expressed condolences over the Pulwama attack. The Indian Government has slammed Pakistan for the attack and blamed it for supporting Jaish-e-Mohammed and its founder Masood Azhar. According to reports, Pakistan has issued a statement rejecting any role in the terror attacks.
