Guwahati, November 26, 2019:

Two Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists have been killed in an encounter in Pulwama district of South Kashmir.

According to official sources, the encounter began on Monday evening in Drabgam village.

The two Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists are said to be locals. Security forces have recovered weapons and warlike stores from their possession.

The search operation was on till Tuesday morning.

It is to be mentioned here that the security forces on November 11 had gunned down two terrorists in an encounter at Bandipora in Jammu and Kashmir.

One terrorist was also killed on Sunday during a gunfight between security forces in Lawdara village, about 55 km from Srinagar, officials said.

A search operation was launched by the security forces at Bandipora in Lawdara village based on specific information. During the search operation, a clash had broken out between the two groups, following which the two terrorists were killed.
