A woman and her two children narrowly escaped death at Barh railway station in Bihar on Saturday, when a train passed over them.
A circulating video displays the woman huddling with her two children on the tracks, while the train speeds past. The family, originating from Begusarai, was en route to Delhi on the Vikramshila Express that operates between Bhagalpur and Delhi.
They encountered difficulty while boarding the train at Barh due to a large crowd, resulting in the woman and her children falling onto the tracks. Before bystanders could react, the train began to depart, leading the woman to shield her children by lying over them on the tracks.
Following the train's departure, onlookers rushed to rescue the woman and her children. They were immediately taken to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
