Goods Train derails in Jharkhand, halting rail traffic; probe underway

A major disruption occurred on the railway tracks between Tupkadih and Rajabera sections when a goods train derailed, splitting in two, and causing two of its wagons to overturn.

The derailment has forced the suspension of train movement on the down line track, impacting rail operations in the area.

A 15-member team from the Railway Protection Force (RPF) Bokaro swiftly arrived at the scene to assess the situation and oversee restoration efforts.

Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the incident, which remains undetermined at this time. Efforts to clear the derailed wagons and restore normal train services are actively underway, according to RPF Bokaro.
