Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma addressed a public rally in Jamshedpur, located in the East Singhbhum district.
During his speech, he described the upcoming election as a decisive fight for the party. He expressed concerns over demographic changes observed in regions such as Pakur and Sahibganj.
Sarma questioned the current government's track record, asking why people should vote for an administration that has not fulfilled its promises. He highlighted the unfulfilled promise of providing five lakh jobs.
The Chief Minister also referred to the recovery of Rs 25 crore from the residence of Alamgir Alam, a politician.
He questioned whether he would receive an election ticket from Prime Minister Modi if such an amount was found at his house. However, he pointed out that Hemant Soren had given a ticket to Alamgir Alam.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on November 11 said that the upcoming elections in Jharkhand will be fought for 'Maati, Beti and Roti' (land, daughter and food).
CM Sarma's remarks came as he urged citizens to prepare for the upcoming elections with the aim of protecting 'Maati, Beti, Roti'—a phrase symbolizing the land, daughters, and livelihoods of the people.
Speaking at a public gathering, CM Sarma highlighted the need to defend cultural and societal identity, particularly pointing to the state of Jharkhand as a focal point of his message. “We have to fight this election for our 'Maati, Beti, Roti' and to save Jharkhand... We have to save our culture and society,” said Sarma.
