The Power Politics reigns above all the Constitutional Provisions and the Karnataka Assembly Elections was once again a sheer evidence to it. The state elections in Karnataka deciphered of how filthy the game of Politics has grown when the governor Vajubhai Vala invited BS Yeddyurappa to form the government in the state and to prove it's majority within a period of 15 days, thus paving a way for the Saffron party to indulge into Horse Trading.
This could no better be termed than murdering of Democracy if the states of Meghalaya, Manipur and Goa are brought into the spectrum. The BJP formed government with just two seats through a proxy in Meghalaya. Same was the case in Manipur and Goa showing utter disrespect to the mandate of the people. But in Karnataka the Post Alliance of Congress and JD(S) to form government was put a blind eye to. The same game has been witnessed during the tenure of Congress too which brings to the conclusion the fact that ‘money power' surpasses the accountability to people.
How can the people of a Country put in their trust upon a representative they have elected to govern them when the very representative cannot even stay loyal to their own parties
Thus the gullibility of the people has been once again fallen a prey to the ‘Power Game' breaching the very Constitutional Provisions
