The latest Mood of the Nation survey, conducted by India Today in association with CVoter, only reaffirms PM Modi’s dominant political presence in the country. Despite domestic economic woes, his popularity ratings touched 66 per cent, an increase of 12 percentage points from August 2021 though not quite the stratospheric high of 78 per cent in August 2020 before the ill effects of the pandemic had fully registered.
