Sikkim: Third Covid-19 Death in state

A 57-year-old make from Pelling has succumbed to COVID-19 in Sikkim. He was admitted to STNM with other ailments but tested positive via RTPCR. He will be cremated according to Covid-19 protocol today.

Earlier, the East District Administration in Sikkim has declared ten areas as containment zones today.

They are: Jitlang Ward, Central Pendam GP Majhitar Ward, Rangpo

The COVID-19 tally in the country rises to 27,02,743 including 6,73,166 active cases, 19,77,780 discharged/migrated & 51,797 deaths: Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
