2nd Northeast TSD Rally 2019 officially announced

Guwahati, November 10, 2018:

The second edition Northeast Time-Speed-Distance (TSD) Rally 2019 has been officially announced which is scheduled for January 18 to January 20, 2019.

Roshni Hassan, Mrs. United Nations 2017 Winner, Businesswoman, Writer & Social Activist as the Brand Ambassador for Northeast TSD Rally 2019 to promote road safety awareness among all.

TSD rally is a type of motorsport with the objective of driving each segment of a course in a specified time at a specified average speed following specific route instructions. TSD Rally is full of adventure, excitement and challenges as the participant don’t have any idea about the route which includes off road, village roads and hilly terrains and surprise tests on the route.

The Northeast TSD Rally is organised in by Heritage Northeast and Anchal Association with Eastern Motorsports and approved by The Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI). 50 cars/teams will be competing for cash prize worth more than Rupees 2 Lakhs.

Apart from popularizing motorsports and promoting tourism in this part of the country, the very purpose of Northeast TSD Rally is to create awareness on road safety, to make the roads safe for all.

The organizers said, “Road Safety has emerged as one of the biggest concern in India. In order to take our campaign of creating awareness on road safety to a notch higher, we are organizing a Road Safety Awareness Competition for School Students of class 9 to 12. Our aim is to sensitize the future drivers of the nation about various aspects of road safety and engage them in the process of making our roads safe for all.”

The winning slogan will be considered as the theme of Northeast TSD Rally 2019 and will be awarded with cash prize and certificate.
