Assam Soccer Player Kabir Nath has become the first Assamese to play in the Third Division Football League in Spain.
19-year-old, Kabir Nath has signed an agreement with a Third Division Football Club of Spain, 'CD Olympic De Xativa'. Nath has been playing in the European country for the past four years.

Kabir gave three weeks of intensive selection trials to get selected in the senior Men's 1st team of the well-known reputed club in Spain.
Nath is the son of Dr. Kalpajit Nath and Dr. Geeta Baruah Nath from Assam, are currently based in Delhi.
CD OLIMPIC DE XATIVA, a reputed old club in Spain, was established in 1932.
