Bengaluru FC has clinched their first ISL crown after Rahul Bheke headed in a championship winning goal in extra-time against a 10 men FC Goa during the final held at the Mumbai Football arena on Sunday. The only goal of the came four minutes from the end of the second half of extra time.
FC Goa was reduced to 10 men after midfielder Ahmed Jahouh was shown a second yellow card and he had to walk out of the match which immediately sent the Goan team into a defensive pattern and despite fighting with spirit and resilience, the boys from Goa finally conceded the match-winning goal when Bheke looped a header from Dimas Delgado.
