Indian boxer Manju Rani has bagged silver at the Women's World Championships held in Russia's Ekaterina Paltceva in Ulan-Ude on Sunday.
The Haryana-boxer went down 1-4 to the second-seeded local favorite in the first final of the day.

India ended with a silver and three bronze medals after Mary Kom (51kg), Jamuna Boro (54kg) and Lovlina Borgohain (69kg) lost their respective semifinal bouts on Saturday.
Manju Rani, who hails from Haryana made the national camp only this year. She defeated top seed Kim Hyang of North Korea in the quarterfinals. She then went past former World Championships bronze medallist Chuthamat Raksat of Thailand.

Earlier this year, Manju had bagged bronze medals at the Indian Open and Thailand Open and clinched a silver at the 70th Strandja Boxing Tournament in Bulgaria.
