Free tickets for women’s India vs England T-20 cricket matches in Guwahati

Guwahati, March 3, 2019:

Great news for cricket lovers of Guwahati city! The Assam Cricket Association (ACA) has made entry free for three T-20 (20 overs) international matches between India and England to be played at the ACA stadium located in the city’s Barsapara from March 4-10. The matches will begin at 11:00 am. The teams will play a three-match T20 International series under the supervision of International Cricket Council (ICC).

It is to be mentioned that the matches will be played with an aim to encourage women’s cricket in the State. 2018 BCCI Best Women’s International Cricketer Smriti Mandhana will be leading the team in the absence of injured Haramanpreet Kaur in the series.

The ACA is also hoping to organize a zonal tournament to boost women’s cricket in the near future.
