Guwahati, July 21, 2019:

Assam's 'golden girl' Hima Das is back it it again! Returning to her preferred category, the 400m, Hima has managed to win her 5th Gold within a month after she won the 400m race in Prague, Czech Republic, on Saturday.

The Indian sprinter Das clocked 52.09 seconds to win the race, although her personal best is 50.09 seconds.

Hima took to social media platform Twitter to share her success with 138K followers. She wrote: "Finished 400m today on the top here in Czech Republic today"

Earlier, Hima had bagged the gold at 200m in Tabor Athletic Meet on Wednesday. Prior to Tabor Athletic Meet, she won three gold at different events including a gold medal in Klado Athletic Meet, Kunto Athletics Meet, and Poznan Athletics Grand Prix.

Hima's heroics have also caught the attention of dairy giants Amul. The dairy giants have released a truly remarkable cartoon featuring Assam’s very own Hima and the company mascot, the ‘Amul girl’.

With a clever twist of words using Hima’s surname, Das, the Amul cartoon bears the message: “Das the way to go, girl”.

The cartoon shows the ‘Amul Girl’ holding Hima’s four international golds (which she has won within 15 days) and saluting her. The cartoon version of Hima can be seen holding a sandwich topped with a cube of Amul butter, with a triumphant smile on her face.

Meanwhile, Hima will have her eyes firmly set on the Tokyo Olympics to be held in 2020.
