The Women's Cricket team of India on Thursday for the very first time qualified for the finals of the Women's T20 World Cup.
The Indian team made it's maiden entry to the finals after beating England during the semifinals at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
Australia has also qualified for the final of the T20 World Cup and the ladies from down under will be facing India in the final match on March 8, Sunday.
It may be mentioned here that India made it through after entering the knockouts as the Group A toppers with four wins out of four games.
England on the other hand, had a better net run-rate than India. However, England's loss against South Africa in the opening game proved to be the decisive factor.
