Nagaland skipper Jonathan Rongsen to Lead Bengaluru Blasters as Captain

Kohima, August 10, 2019:

32-year-old, Nagaland cricket skipper Jonathan Rongsen is all set to lead Bengaluru Blasters as captain for this year's edition.

Jonathan Rongsen holds the record of third most expensive player at the Karnataka Premier League (KPL) auction for an amount of Rs 6 lakhs.

Reportedly, Rongsen expressed excitement over the development and said that the objective of the teams besides winning the tournament is to improve as a whole since the team is young.

Rongsen Jonathan is an Indian cricketer born on October 4, 1986. He made his first-class debut for Railways in the 2013–14 Ranji Trophy on 6 December 2013. Ahead of the 2018–19 Ranji Trophy, he transferred from Railways to Nagaland.
