Saina Nehwal weds Parupalli Kashyap

Guwahati, December 15, 2018:

Ace Indian badminton player Saina Nehwal tied the knot with fellow shuttler Parupalli Kashyap on Friday.

Saina had sprung a surprise to her fans by announcing the completion of her wedding on the social media.

“Best match of my life...#justmarried," Saina posted on Twitter along with some pictures of her marriage.

The marriage was a low-key affair and it took place at Saina's residence in Orion villas at Raidurgam. There were around 40 guests which included Governors of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana besides the couples family members and relatives.

Saina and Kashyap had first met each other at Pullela Gopichand's academy. They had been in a relationship for some time but never made it public.
