NEW DELHI: Congress Rajya Sabha MP and former Union Minister for Transport, Road and Highways and Labour & Employment Oscar Fernandes has breathed his last today at a hospital in Mangaluru.
80-year-old Fernandes was admitted to the hospital on July 19 after he sustained injuries in an accidental fall while doing exercise.
Fernandes had a brain clot and complaint of frequent headaches after the fall.

Fernandes was AICC General Secretary too.
Fernandes was survived by his wife Blossom Fernandes and a daughter and a son.
