GUWAHATI: Keeping itself away from the maddening crowd of noise and breaking news, Inside Northeast today re-launched itself in a bigger way with an aim to serve the region with latest news updates and quality journalism.

NewsLive managing director Riniki Bhuyan Sarma inaugurated the new office premises at a new address in Housefed locality here. The inaugural ceremony was also attended by Kaliabor MP Gaurav Gogoi, former MP Biswajit Daimary and a host of dignitaries and invited guests.

Lauding efforts and success of the web portal over the past four years, Sarma exhorted the employees to work with a focus to scale newer heights in journalism and make insidene.com one of top news services in the Northeast.

Appreciating the newly installed office infrastructure, she hoped it will ensure indomitable growth of Inside Northeast.

Inside Northeast has set up a proper studio suitable for all telecast purposes apart from acquiring new equipment.

Gogoi also wished success of the news organization and hoped it will play a major role in socio-political uplift of the society.

Visiting the new office, Rajya Sabha member and senior journalist Ajit Bhuyan said, "InsideNE is already an established news service that has always maintained a high quality of journalism. I am sure the new set up will further enhance its quality ... I wish Afrida Hussain and her team a great future."

Daimary  was all praise for the new set up and wished for success of the endeavour.

In her re-launch address, editor-in-chief Afrida Hussain spoke about the ups and downs of the news service in the past and hoped it will see unprecedented growth in the future. She thanked her new business partner and director of Inside Northeast Mithu Bharali for coming forward to join hands in the venture.

Recalling bad times Inside Northeast came through in the past, she said: “We had gone through very bad times in the past. But, we never compromised in our news quality. I am hopeful that such time will never come again and that we will grow fast as far as our quality is concerned. We will remain uncompromising in the future.”
