Tripura: Congress stages ‘Gana Dharna’ over attacks on minorities in Agartala

AGARTALA: Tripura Congress today staged a mass protest (GANA DHARNA) at the Congress Bhawan in it’s capital city, Agartala over the recent attacks on minorities in the state.

The party staged protest demanding action against perpetrators of the violence.

Earlier, Tripura Congress chief Birajit Sinha came down heavily on the BJP government in the state over the recent attacks on minorities in the state.

Demanding action against the perpetrators of the “brutal attacks” on minority community in Tripura, Birajit Sinha demanded the state government to rehabilitate the displaced minority families, whose houses were burnt down by activists of Vishwa Hindu Parishad during a rally at Panisagar in North Tripura district on Tuesday.
