In a interesting development, All Bodo Students’ Union (ABSU) President Pramod Bodo and Bodoland Peoples’ Front MP Biswajit Daimary were seen sharing stage during an election rally in Tripura. Both the leaders were campaigning for Indigenous Peoples’ Front of Tripura(IPFT) candidate Brisskteu Deb Burma who is contesting from No1 Simna constituency where seven thousand people had gathered. It may be mentioned that leaders of ABSU and BPF are not seen together on any occasion in Assam. But when it came to the cause of an Tribal candidate contesting election, they joined hands to ensure his victory. In conclusion, should the both parties remain united in the future for the greater cause of the Bodo people?
