Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb has confirmed that two more cases of the novel coronavirus have been detected in his state, taking the total number of cases to 4. The two latest cases have been reported from the Ambassa unit of the Border Security Forces (BSF).
As two persons have already been discharged, the total number of active cases in the state now stands at 2.
It is pertinent to mention here that two districts of Tripura -- Gomati and North Tripura -- have been categorized as orange zones as the earlier cases were reported from there. Now, the Dhalai district has also reported its first cases with the new discoveries of the COVID-19.
