CONSTRUCTION OF BG TRAINS AT BELONIA RAILWAY IN PROGRESS

The construction work of the platform at Belonia Railway Station under Belonia Subdivision is in progress to meet the deadline.

The work progress shows that  South Tripura will be connected soon with Broad Gauge Goods (BG) train service. The trail run of BG trains will be on May 15th. The Indian Railway Connectivity in India’s North Eastern region will get boost with the launch of the first ever BG trains to the landlocked state.

The latest trend of work at Belonia Railway Station will make the Tripura people travel long distance in BG trains and get connected with the rest part of the country. The National Frontier Railway made sure to complete the BG conversion work from Karimganj to Udaipur via Agartala on time. The BG train will bring a sync with rest of the country and Tripura to build faster connectivity and communication. Agartala will be the first to make it to the National BG rail network.
