TRIPURA WOMAN MOLESTED AT KNIFE POINT IN CHENNAI

A 20 year old woman from Tripura was molested at knife point at her residence at suburban Sholinganallur. Based on a complaint from her husband Nasath Akthar, also a native of Tripura, police traced the accused, Zakir Hussain, who was hiding at his friend's place in Karapakkam and arrested him. Police said Zakir was also a native of Tripura. Nasath was working in the house-keeping department of an IT firm near Sholinganallur.

On investigation, police found that Nasath's first wife hired Zakir as a contract killer to murder the woman who had married Nasath a couple of months back and became his second wife.
