Guwahati, October 27, 2018:

As part of Military Civic Action, units of the Red Horns Division organised  Health Check up for Veterans, inmates of Old Age Homes and senior citizens of Benuwaji Old Age Home in Nagaon, Missionary of Charity, Balipathar in East Karbi Anglong and Lokra in Biswanath on Saturday.

A total of 30 Veterans, 109 inmates of Old Age Homes and 337 Senior Citizens has been benefitted by the service.

The Army also conducted  Motivational Lecture  for School Students of Bihuguri Higher Secondary School, Sonitpur today. All together 225  students and 10 teachers attended the lecture and  were given detailed information about the role of Armed Forces, various types of entry schemes, pay, incentives & other facilities available to Armed Forces personnel.
