Assam: 1 more positive case in Guwahati, state tally reaches 59

Assam 9th May:

1 positive case has been detected from a student of Regional Dental College, Kamrup Metro. This comes within hours after 2 cases were found positive. Currently, the number of active cases has reached 24.

The source of the earlier 2 cases are from the same bus that traveled from Rajasthan.

The total tally for corona positive cases in Assam has reached 59.

The State Health Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma has tweeted regarding the matter.
