Assam Police recovers 1.07 gms heroin, apprehends one in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Continuing its crusade against drugs, the Assam police recovered 1.07 gms heroin in 4 vials at Adabari Bus Stand in Guwahati. One person has been apprehended in the connection.

The Police team also seized a mobile phone & ₹1050 cash.

The accused has been identified as Sakina Begam (40).

Informing this, the Guwahati police tweeted, “A WGPD team from Jalukbari PS arrested one Sakina Begam (40) with 1.07 gms heroin in 4 vials at Adabari Bus Stand. A mobile phone & ₹1050 cash were also seized. A case has been registered u/s 22(a), NDPS Act at Jalukbari PS.”
