Assam Police Trolls Criminals After Seizing 590-KG Cannabis

The Assam Police seems to have mastered the art of 'trolling' on social media. The police force of Assam, after seizing 590 kilos of cannabis, has taken to micro-blogging platform Twitter to poke fun at the criminals.

The humorous tweet from the official account of the Police reads: "Anyone lost a huge (590 kgs) amount of Cannabis/Ganja and a truck in and around Chagolia Checkpoint last night? Don't panic, we found it. Please get in touch with

Lastly, the Assam Police commends its Dhubri unit for seizing the huge quantity of intoxicating substance. "Great job Team Dhubri", read the tweet.

This sarcastic jibe of the Assam Police has been appreciated by netizens who have loved the way the Assam police have put the message across.

User Anil Kovuri wrote: "Heights of trolling by Assam Police. Lol!!"

Meanwhile, another user called 'Bhupi' wrote: "Loved the way its announced..."

It may be mentioned that Officials in Dhubri, a town in the north-eastern state, found a "huge amount" of ganja and a truck in and around Chagolia Checkpoint on June 3. 590 kgs of cannabis was seized from the truck.
