NEW DELHI: Presenting the Union Budget 2021 amid the ongoing COVID-19 scenario, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman today announced Rs. 1,000 crore for tea garden workers in Assam and West Bengal.

 

 

Finance Minister Sitharaman is currently presenting a 6-pillared budget 2021 with a focus on health and infrastructure.

Sitharaman has also informed that 5 major fishing hubs are to be developed to promote the fisheries sector. Additionally, a sea weed park is also being planned in Tamil Nadu. Avanti feeds, waterbase and apex frozen foods are the stocks that are expected to benefit from this.

 

 

The Finance Minister has also announced that the focus of the new budget will be to double the income of the farmers of the country.
