Jamunamukh BJP member allegedly threatens Govt Official

Guwahati, November 20, 2018:

A video of a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) member threatening a Block Development Officer (BDO) in Jamunamukh has gone viral and has created sensation among the people.

The BJP member identified as Billal Uddin visited the Binakandi Block Development Office in Dabaka and allegedly threatened the BDO Moin Uddin to clear some NREGA bills.

In the video it was clearly seen that Billal Uddin along with few other members abused the BDO as he denied to clear the bill without proper formalities and documentations.

BDO Moin Uddin refusing to clear the bill without any paperwork said, “I do not work for any party. As I am a government official, I work under the government rules and regulations.”

On the other hand, Billal confessing to have threatened the BDO alleged that the BDO used to take commission from Congress members in order to clear bills.
