Meeting on Child Safety held in KA

Diphu (Assam), September 7, 2018:

The Karbi Anglong Administration held a meeting and urged the Childline to take protective measures in the district in the cases of missing and run away children on Friday.

The meeting was attended by Karbi Anglong Deputy Commissioner Mridul Kumar Mahanta hold chair and Assistant Deputy Commissioner Junmoni sunuwal and District Transport officer, Jirsong Asong NGO, District press club of karbi Anglong, Advocate, Greater Diphu Bazaar committee.

The meeting also discussed the issues of people who are engaged in rash driving causing a threat to the children on the roads.

The participants of the meeting stressed that people should always inform the Childline whenever they find any issues related to child labour or child abuse in Karbi Anglong.
