Priyanka Chopra Wants to be Prime Minister

Guwahati, June 4, 2019:

'Awesome Assam' brand ambassador Priyanka Chopra Jonas has admitted that she would like to run for the post of Prime Minister at some point in her life. She revealed this information in an interview with 'The Sunday Times'.

The 'Quantico' actress also opened up about the political aspirations she has for herself, and her husband and pop star Nick Jonas, reports people.com.

In the interview, Priyanka has said that she would love to run for Prime Minister of India and would love her hubby Nick Jonas, to run for president.

She further added that although she doesn't like the "things" associated with politics, but she said that she and Nick both want to make a "change". "Never say never", she added.

Priyanka has said that she has remained "apolitical" throughout her life. However, the actress could not deny the fact that her 26-year-old husband Nick would make a great leader as he is not afraid to use the word "feminist".

Priyanka Chopra, who got married to Nick in December 2018, has also said that she considers Nick to be an "old" soul.

At a recent event, she had said that she calls him 'Old Man Jonas'. "That's my name for him OMJ. He's such an old soul, extremely smart, so good for me because he grounds me so much. I'm a wild child, I do whatever I want, whenever I want and he always supports me", she said.
