Ram Madhav lauds Nagaland’s noble gesture

Guwahati (Assam), Aug 19, 2018:

Rain and landslides-battered Nagaland has earned kudos from senior BJP leader Ram Madhav for standing by rains and flood-hit Kerala.

“Gesture by a state which itself is facing nature’s fury. Remember Nagaland is at d the other corner of India and struggling with rains. What connects is d bond of Indianness n a heart that goes out for the suffering. Amount may be small but d gesture is big. Kudos to Rio and Nagaland Govt,” Ram Madhav tweeted.

The Nagaland government has contributed Rs.1 crore as relief to Kerala and urged people besides groups and organisations in the state to extend their assistance by contributing towards the relief fund.

Recently, most parts of Nagaland had remained cut off due to rains and landslides which claimed the lives of ten people and injured several others. The state is now trying recover from the nature’s fury.
