Suspected ULFA-I linkman arrested in Jagun

Guwahati, November 24, 2018:

Another suspected linkman of the United Liberation Front of Asom-Independent (ULFA-I) was apprehended by the Assam Police from Tinsukia's Jagun on Saturday.

According to the police, the suspected linkman is identified as Babu Basumatary of Jagun. He is suspected to be involved in the recruitment of several new cadres into the militant outfit.

The police are currently interrogating him to figure out in other possible activities he was involved in.
