Terrorists opened fire at the paramilitary personnel deployed at a school in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday. However, no casualties have been reported so far.
Reportedly, the terrorists fired some 6-7 rounds at a bunker of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) at a school in Drabgam, Kashmir. The security forces were deployed in the school, as it was used as an examination centre.

The CRPF retaliated on being attacked and additional deployment were made to tighten the security. The security forces also launched search operations.
The attack comes on the day European Union MPs are visiting the state of Jammu and Kashmir. The 23 EU MPs met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval on Monday.

This is the first such international visit to the state and takes place nearly two months after the revocation of Article 370 and 35A.
