Two workers who were abducted by armed cadres of militant group NSCN (K-YA) on Kunsa Pongchau road from a makeshift labour camp near Tisa river in Longding district of Arunachal Pradesh, have been finally released.
The duo abducted persons identified as Sashank Kumar Yadav (Junior Engineer) and Liamgao PANSA supervisor were abudcted by three armed cadres of the militant group on November 16 and released on November 28.
As per preliminary reports, the duo were abducted from the makeshift camp and taken to Kunno zero point in a Bolero pickup truck. The vehicle was then disengaged at Kunno and the armed cadres reportedly moved towards Indo-Myanmar border.
They were working under Shatrughan Singh of BTRF Project .The entire kidnapping was reportedly carried out by Ss Lt.Col Botai Wangsu and Ss Lt.Abojak Wangnow of NSCN K-YA faction.
