Arunachal CM: Successful implementation of India-China patrol pact to benefit both countries

Arunachal Chief Minister Pema Khandu asserted that proper implementation of the India-China Border Patrol Agreement on ground could benefit both countries in the future.

This comes after both countries reached an agreement on patrolling arrangements along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh.

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu reacted to the India-China Patrol Agreement, asserting that if implemented properly, it could benefit both countries in the future.

Speaking to reporters, CM Khandu said, "Both countries are moving forward economically at a fast pace. Peace is the only solution for growing together, leaving behind all grudges of the past."

The patrolling agreement is a significant step towards resolving the border tensions that arose in 2020 following actions by the Chinese military in eastern Ladakh.
