Arunachal Pradesh is preparing to host a world-class event as Alex Rudeau, a celebrated mountain bike rider from France, arrives for the upcoming Monduro Tawang, set to be held from November 9-14, 2024, in the breathtaking Tawang Valley. Chief Minister Pema Khandu announced the event today, describing the gathering as a tribute to the state’s natural allure and its appeal to adventurers worldwide.

“Arunachal Pradesh – the Gateway to Serenity – is all set to welcome Mr. Alex Rudeau to Monduro Tawang. It is my immense pleasure to invite everyone to witness this rare sporting event set amidst the stunning natural beauty of Tawang Valley. Hope to see you all along with Mr. Alex!” said Chief Minister Khandu.

The Monduro Tawang promises to be a thrilling highlight in the global mountain biking calendar, attracting spectators and adventure sports enthusiasts. Rudeau, representing the Commencal Enduro Project, brings a wealth of experience and an impressive record in the mountain biking circuit. At just 28, he has already secured a win this season, with four podium finishes in the elite E-Enduro Men category. His strong performance has earned him 1801 points in the EDR World Cup, 250 WSQ points, and a solid 2051 global ranking points.
