Arunachal Governor attends Gurpurab celebrations at Naharlagun, emphasises unity, brotherhood

Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt. General KT Parnaik (Retd.) participated in the celebration 555th Prakash Utsav of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, commonly known as Gurpurab, at Gurudwara Saheb, Naharlagun, on November 15.
 

During the event, Governor Parnaik emphasised that Guru Nanak Dev Ji imparted the timeless values of love, peace, truth, and devotion. He further noted that Guru Nanak's teachings of humanity, equality, and brotherhood continue to inspire us, guiding our personal growth while promoting social harmony and unity.
 

The Arunachal Governor expressed his hope that this sacred occasion would further strengthen the spirit of unity in diversity within society.
 

He also attended ‘Shabad Kirtan’, ‘Anand Saheb Path’ and ‘Ardaas’ - all conducted on the auspicious occasion.
 

Gurudwara Singh Sabha Prabhandak Committee, Naharlagun led by President Sulhvinder Singh Sandhu presented a 'Saropa' to the Governor as a mark of respect.
 

Later, the Governor attended the Guru Ka Langar with the Sikh Community.
 

A large number of people from other communities also attended the Guru Nanak Jayanti celebration.
