Arunachal Pradesh joins nationwide celebration of Ram Mandir's inauguration in Ayodhya. 

The event, viewed by the state's leaders and citizens as a significant historical event, was followed from their homes in Itanagar.

Lt Gen Kaiwalya Trivikram Parnaik did puja Archana at the Mandir of Nitivihar along with the citizens.

The Mayor of Itanagar along With his corporators witnessed the programme live at their home and followed the rituals at their house in Itanagar.

The mayor briefed about the history of Ram Mandir and the struggle it faced to come into existence. According to the Mayor people of Arunachal despite being believers of any religion loves Lord Ram and his teachings.

Mama Natung, the forest and Sports minister of Arunachal glorified the inauguration of Ram Mandir and marked it as a historical day not only for Hindus but for all Indians irrespective of caste and religion as Ram Mandir will be a precious historical asset which will be visited from tourists all over the world.

Mr Arunachal Tachang Phassang speaking to India Today NE stated the day as an auspicious glory day apart from a religious angle. According to Mr Arunachal, the state is a living example where all the religions grow in liberty but still live in harmony. According to Tachang Itanagar bringing home to several tribes and people from other states is witnessing mass participation from all sections of the society in this auspicious Pran Pratishtha and inauguration of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
