Today a mass gathering took place in Sagalee town and a mass joining programme into BJP and a grand reception of aspiring BJP ticket seeker candidate Er Rotu Techi clearly indicates the anti incumbency factor growing among the people of Sagalee.

Former Technocrat and businessman Ratu Techi formally joined the BJP at the state BJP headquarter in November. The state BJP President and Pakke Kessang MLA Biyuram Wahge while welcoming him to the party fold has ask him to work for strengthening of the party right form grassroots level.

Ratu Techi, a native of Nimte village of Sagalee circle of Papum Pare district has served the state PWD for more than  30 years and served as superintendent engineer. Ratu has been associated with several social welfare activities and was associated with ABVP since decades.

Techi, while aspiring to fight against former CM Nabam Tuki, told media that there is no kinship in democracy and everyone has right to fight elections and serve the society.

"I have done business, served the government in service for long now I want to serve my people and bring development for them as Sagalee has been deprived of good schools, hospitals and basic infrastructure. Since 30 years one man is getting elected from here and now people want a change in leadership. I was associated with ABVP since decades and I am only seeking the party ticket to move further and contest elections. Change is the law of nature and in this world no regime has ruled forever. So if my people show their love and support to me, I will definitely contest to bring changes" Ratu said.
