Tengam Celine Koyu, the Miss India Arunachal 2022 titleholder, has raised a massive allegation against the Miss Arunachal organisation.
Koyu has claimed that the promised reimbursement of Rs 10 lakhs for the year 2022 has not been provided to her yet.
Koyu informed the media, "I may eventually receive the amount, but who will compensate for the mental unrest I have faced?"
In a press briefing at Arunachal Press Club, Itanagar today, former Miss Arunachal 2021, Tengam Celine Koyu has alleged negligence from the management of Miss Arunachal Organization in paying the reimbursement she was to receive from the organization.
In connection with the case, Koyu has served a legal notice to the management of Miss Arunachal Organization for early disbursement of the held-up amount that she was entitled to get.

The former Miss Arunachal winner has accused the organisers of not fulfilling their financial commitments.
Koyu stated that when she approached the Department of Youth Affairs to inquire about the matter, the organisers became upset with her.
Koyu further added that this issue is not limited to her alone, as other past Miss Arunachal winners have faced similar problems, but they are hesitant to come forward.
However, she clarified that she has no complaint against the reigning Miss Arunachal, Tadu Lunia, whom she described as talented and hardworking.
Koyu expressed her disappointment with the organiser, stating that she had done a significant amount of work under their banner but was never paid. She has come forward to the media in the hope of ensuring that future beauty pageant winners do not encounter such issues.
Tengam Celine Koyu was crowned Miss Arunachal title at the XIIIth Kingfisher Miss Arunachal Pageant, 2021 contest. The grand finale of the XIIIth Kingfisher Miss Arunachal Pageant was held here at Pasighat in East Siang District of Arunachal Pradesh on April 3rd evening.
