The 8th edition of the JK Tyre Orange 4x4 Fury began today, bringing motorsport enthusiasts and adventure seekers to the rugged terrains of Arunachal Pradesh. Flagged off from the iconic Golden Pagoda Complex in Namsai District, the event was inaugurated by Arunachal Pradesh's Deputy Chief Minister, Shri Chowna Mein, alongside Mr. Hari Singh, Head of Operations, JK Tyre Motorsport.

The competition, part of the annual Orange Festival of Adventure and Music, combines motorsport excellence with the natural beauty of Arunachal Pradesh. Over the next three days, 25 teams from across India will battle against the challenging tropical terrain in a test of grit, skill, and machine power. Defending champions Team MOCCA from Arunachal Pradesh, along with renowned off-roading veteran Chethan Chengappa and his co-driver Sanoj S, are among the top contenders for the title.

The event has grown into a marquee motorsport spectacle, drawing participants and tourists alike. Shri Chowna Mein expressed his aspirations for the festival, stating, "Next year, we aim to elevate this event to an international level, showcasing not only the competition but also the rich culture and scenic beauty of Arunachal Pradesh."

JK Tyre has been a cornerstone of this event since its inception, playing a vital role in promoting adventure tourism in the region. The collaboration with the Arunachal Pradesh government has fostered local development and positioned Dambuk as a hub for motorsport and adventure activities.

"The 8th edition is more than a competition; it’s a celebration of human endurance and adventure, set against the backdrop of Arunachal’s breathtaking wilderness," he said.
