New Arunachal Sadan in Delhi to provide enhanced comfort for state’s visitors

The Arunachal Pradesh government is set to inaugurate a state-of-the-art facility in Dwarka, New Delhi, offering modern accommodations and amenities tailored to meet the needs of students, patients, and officials visiting from the state. The recently completed Arunachal Sadan, located in Sector 13, has been constructed to provide an improved experience for guests arriving in the national capital.

Spanning 1,750 square meters, the new Arunachal Sadan boasts 41 deluxe rooms, a large conference hall equipped with advanced technology, a medical room, dining facilities and a well-appointed kitchen. Designed with safety and convenience in mind, the building includes car lifts, two levels of basement parking, CCTV, and fire detection systems, along with two diesel generator sets to ensure uninterrupted power. Situated near the Dwarka ISKCON Temple and adjacent to the new Uttar Pradesh Sadan, the location also offers easy access to both the airport and metro stations, ensuring maximum connectivity for visitors.

Resident Commissioner Amjad Tak emphasized that this facility marks a significant step toward enhancing support for Arunachal Pradesh residents in New Delhi. “This new Arunachal Sadan will cater to residents who come to the capital for education, medical care, or official duties,” said Tak. “With its range of services, the Sadan will act as a third option for accommodations, alongside the existing Arunachal Bhawan and Arunachal House in the city.”

Sources have revealed that the original Arunachal Bhawan, a nearly four-decade-old guesthouse in the capital, will soon be demolished due to limited capacity. Plans are already underway to rebuild the site to offer expanded accommodations that meet the current demands of the state’s citizens. Additionally, another facility, Arunachal House, is nearing completion in Dhirpur, further reinforcing the state’s commitment to its people’s welfare.

In particular, the new Arunachal Sadan will benefit patients seeking specialized treatment at facilities like AIIMS, as well as students pursuing higher education. The project underscores the Arunachal Pradesh government’s dedication to supporting residents visiting New Delhi, particularly in providing a reliable and comfortable stay to those in need of medical assistance.
