PM Modi to inaugurate and lay foundation stone of several projects worth Rs 18,000 crore in Jorhat today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March 9 will be laying the foundation stone of several projects worth Rs 18,000 crore in Jorhat today. 

A large number of beneficiaries of 'Lakhpati Baideos' scheme have already arrived at Meleng Meteli field in Jorhat as they await for PM Modi's arrival. 

Apart from addressing a public gathering, PM Modi will also inaugurate the statue of Lachit Barphukan at Lachit Maidam at Hoollongapar in Jorhat.

As per the day's itinerary, PM Modi will head towards Arunachal Pradesh where he will be unveiling the Sela Tunnel project today.
