On the occasion of Constitution Day, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju emphasized the significance of the event, describing it as a "historic moment" for the nation. Speaking about the day's agenda, Rijiju highlighted that members of both Houses of Parliament would convene at the Samvidhan Sadan to commemorate the day alongside the President, Vice President, and Prime Minister.
"This is a sacred occasion," Rijiju remarked, urging political leaders to refrain from making comments on the Constitution from a partisan perspective. "I appeal to all political parties to set aside differences and come together to celebrate Constitution Day in the spirit of unity and reverence," he added.
The event marks a solemn reminder of the nation's commitment to its constitutional values and serves as a platform to reflect on the democratic principles enshrined in the Constitution.
