Assam: Incessant rains flood Dima Hasao, communication disrupted

Incessant rainfall in Dima Hasao leads to heavy flooding of roads causing disruptions in communication. 

The incessant rainfall was witnessed since the night of May 1, causing the overflow of the Haflong Lake. Several places have been waterlogged due to the overflowing of the lake. 

Dima Hasao District Disaster Management Authority and District Commissioner have declared that all schools will remain closed on May 2, following the extremely bad weather conditions. 

There are also reports of landslides from several parts of Dima Hasao.
