Assam: 30 students injured after hanging bridge collapses in Karimganj

KARIMGANJ: In an unfortunate incident, at least 30 students were injured after a hanging bridge collapsed in Assam’s Karimganj district.

The incident happened when the students were returning home from school. The injured students were immediately admitted to the nearby hospital.

According to reports, The incident took place in the Cheragi area under Ratabari assembly constituency in Karimganj district on Monday.

Villagers informed that the hanging bridge was constructed three years back.
