Six individuals were arrested by the Bajali District Police in connection with a murder case, following a successful operation led by Superintendent of Police Ajagaran Basumatary and Additional Superintendent of Police Trinayan Bhuyan.

The accused were apprehended from Asiyaa Lodge in Guwahati and transported to the office of the Superintendent of Police of Bajali. Saidul Islam was produced in the Bajali judicial court and is currently in police custody.

It is important to mention that on June 2, at around 8:30 pm, a group of six assailants entered Ibrahim Ali's house. They initially stabbed Ibrahim in the neck with a sharp weapon while he was on the verandah. Following this, one of the attackers struck him in the stomach with a machete. Ibrahim's mother, who recognized one of the assailants, tried to apprehend him but was severely injured in the process.

The suspects were arrested from various locations, including Manohar Ali aka Manu from Rajghat, Yakub Ali from Kolgachia, Saidul Islam from Rajghat, Joynal Abedin from Dhubri, and Mohammad Saher Ali from Hajo

The case, registered at Patasarkusi police station under number 138/24, includes charges under sections 103(1), 109, 118(2), 190, and 329(4) of the BNS RW sanction, along with sections 25(1)(A), 27, and 35 of the Arms Act.

The swift action and coordination by the Bajali District Police demonstrate their commitment to solving the case and bringing the perpetrators to justice.
